Granny Smith Neon Mica Powder is a beautiful bright neon green pigment. It is not approved for cosmetic use, but may be used in soap, resin, epoxy, and other applications. It has a micron size of 1-2, and is composed of 98.8% Pigment Green 7 (CAS# 1328-53-6) and 1.2% (CI 74260). The SDS pH is between 6-9%.
This powder is widely used in poly resin, nail art, candle making, soap making, resin jewelry, artists acrylic and tempera paints, watercolors, and polymer clay. It is non-bleeding and will not change color. Typical usage rate for soapmaking would start at 5 grams per 500 grams. It is also popular for nail polish, resin, and other industrial paint applications.
This pigment is exceptionally bright and of outstanding visibility due to its ability to convert lower end of spectrum and UV light into the visible light of the key wavelength. It is formaldehyde free, and its small particle size keeps it from clumping, clogging mesh screens, or mottling in printing. It is also light fast and resistant to heat.
